This may sound really dumb on my part, but will a 55 front and rear bumper fit on my 54? I found two nice ones that I can get for cheap. They are driver quality, and mine are painted. Also found many other pieces for 55s including really good back gl*** if anyone is interested. Thanks fellas!!

55 is wider. Might fit but won't look right....

A measuring tape will tell the tale, you will no doubt need the 55's mounting brackets and if you can snag it the splash pan.The 54-56 Frames are probably the same width since all the suspension parts and rear ends interchange.52-54 rear bumpers are the same part number. You may be surprised "what fits" as you have seen 52-56 Fords running Merc clips and bumpers.I have seen 52-54 Fords with '55 grilles and the 55's full stainless that goes around the grille, you can even bolt in a '55 Plymouth grille in less than 1/2 an hour,as I said before a "measuring tape is your best friend" it's what "traditional" customizing is all about.
