Technical bumping up the fuel line size at the gas tank

    Kinda like this one peaking over the crossmember; new 3/8" pick-up tube mounted in a original '47 tank.

    Here’s an oddity…
    70’s Ford Mavericks had a 3/8” fuel line on the six cylinder cars
    V8 cars got a 5/16” line.
    Doesn’t make much sense, does it?

    6 cylinder got worse gas mileage and had to work harder to get to and maintain speed ??

    I tried the mustang tank, but it's too tight.
