The Burbank Choppers Rides episode is by far the most played DVD in my Rides box sets.

 

Not all the rides episodes are white walls and flipper caps, but they are definitely better than your average reality car show. Small on drama, big on tech. Are there not enough people to watch a show like this? I miss it.

That episode 10 years ago changed my car direction for life. It's was what I was looking for all my life.
Since I was a kid I was out at a our tip scrounging parts of dumped cars (before the days of "recycling)
Hated paying for parts when I know I can spend a few hours of busted knuckles getting parts for free.
Since I moved to a country area 3 years ago it's has finally become a reality of building a traditional type banger powered hotrod (other than the 904 auto and round back 9")

 

I learned something from that episode 10 years ago about the olds adapter to a Lasalle trans from Aaron. I think all of the Choppers are on the HAMB, they just don't post much.

 

The real magilla
