buried 57 plymouth...check it out

    Well, we've been tearing into an extremely original, low-milage Jag XKE that had been sitting in a dank garage for 35 years. Owner parked it, had a stroke, died, and it had been sitting there ever since. Had it not been a coupe w/windows rolled up, the rats would have made short order of destroying the interior. Ever seen what a tank of gas looks like after 35 years? It's not a pretty sight, and the tank is history.

    So in regards to this "buried treasure", you can bet that all of the hydraulic lines, master and slave cylinders, gas tank, fuel lines, carbs, radiator, etc. are completetly gone, as well as rusted piston rings and stuck valves. If they are lucky, someone prepared the car correctly before the burial by draining all of the fluids....but something tells me they didn't.

    No, I think I'll p*** on this one.
