Last week I was driving home in my '68 Corvette when I started seeing smoke coming from under the dash. I pulled over, and within minutes it was up in flames. Im trying to see the positive in all of this, and that means that I can get a 4-seat car so that I can take my family in the car with me. I found this 1950 2dr Sedan at a dealer near me, and went to look at it. Its in pretty good shape, so they are holding it for me until the insurance check comes in next week. Looking forward to working on a different kind of car, and meeting some new people.

Agree with the previous. Nice little Ford

  8. That's terrible. Having had a 'dream car' totaled out on me, I can relate entirely. BUT, you've got the right attitude and perspective; time for something else that suits your life now, better. That shoebox looks super clean!

Glad to see you making the best of a bad situation! I hate to see that Corvette go. The '68-73 Corvettes are among my favorites. Good luck with your shoebox. Looks like a nice car in the picture. What are your plans for it?
