I was going to a friends house one night after a car show. In town there's this local Camaro car club that just happened to be behind me and thought it'd be fun to tail me and all that other*****, weavin in and out, so we get to this light that's red and one of the camaro's revs the engine, my little brother was in the car and I decided I'd show him what my Nova was capable of. The light hits green and I'm gone, smoked the camaro, and about a 1/4 mile later I see red and blue way in the distance. Realizing that I'm in a car that isn't to common i decided that running wouldn't be the smart idea. So I pull over and the cop catches up, comes up to me and tells me I was clocked at doing well over 90 in a 35. I was scared*****less figuring I'd get my license taken away, but I was honest about everything and the cop liked myt car, so he let me go with doing 50 in a 35, so I was eligible for traffic school. After spending two days at the "Comedy" traffic school I'm going to try my damndest to never get a ticket again!

When I was younger I used to speed everywhere. I should have gotten locked up but I never got caught. After I settled down I got three tickets in a row. Glad they never caught me doing 130. I usually went that fast at least three times a week.

I visited Root this morning in my coupe. Cold ride with no side windows. On my way home I got caught going 70 in a 55. :-( $60 for the ticket and $60 for the court costs. They do have a diversion thing. If I sign up for it, send in $25, and don't get another ticket in the next 6 months, this one won't go on my record. Sounds like a deal to me.

...got my first ticket at age 16......driving a BOAT! I was pulling a skier without a lifejacket, no observer in the boat with me, speeding in a restricted cove AND a cooler full of beer. I thought the whole thing was funny. It wasn't MY boat......until the Marine Policeman explained to me that he COULD lock me up and fine me $1,000 for each infraction. GULP! After that, I stuck to speeding on dry land. No DWIs though........

Been pulled over many, many times. Got pulled over for 'unsafe start' in my El Camino. (I went by a bar and there were some cuties on the corner. At about 25 mph I hammered it and lit up the tires).
Me: "What did you pull me over for?"
    Him: "Unsafe start."
Me: "Uh, but I was rolling when I spun my tires..."
    Him: ...
    Me: [IMG]
Him: "Just keep it under control."

The other funny time was when I got pulled over by a bike cop in the same El Camino. [IMG]
