I'm sure some of you remember back in elementary school a test for learning how to follow rules. Question 1 would be "Read all directions first." Question 2 something like, "circle all verbs on the page." There was probably 20 or so tasks you had to complete. The final question always read, "disregard rules 2 through whatever and just sign your name." Right now I feel like the dumb*** in cl*** that didn't read the rules first. I never officially introduced myself. My name is Tab Chapman. I am the V.P. of Diamond Back Cl***ic Radials. I consider myself the "thinktank" of this company. I have a long list of ideas I am implementing to make our products even better, and hopefully a little easier on the wallet. We are also experimenting with ways to make radials appear more like bias-ply. We are getting there. What we do is simple yet complex. My father has spent many years mastering our process. I plan to continue in his shoes. Enough about tires. I got thrown into this industry 5 years ago. Believe me, I didn't complain. I have officially become infected. As soon as I get my garage built, I have a few projects lined up. New wife and baby has unfortunately put that on hold for a little while. About to die to get my hands dirty. I currently own a 1960 Pontiac Ventura, 1972 Mercedez 220(mint), a Volkswagen Thing, and a 1950 Olds 88 Club Coupe(being built as a show car). Cars within the family: 50 Packard, 50 Olds 88 fastback, 50 Olds 98, 57 Olds 88, 52 Mercedez 170, 55 Mercedez 190, and the famous VW bus(seen AND heard at many car shows). I'm here to answer any questions.
I bought my wide whites from you. Absolutely the most painless and satisfying purchase I have ever made. Customer service is not dead........it's alive and well at DB!! Good intro! I look forward to seeing pics of your projects.
