Just put the C4 trans back in my coupe after the torque converter sent metal filings through the box and started to lose gears etc. Now the rebuilt trans has no oil flowing through the cooler. I have only done about 10 miles in it, would love to fix it without removing it from the car as it's a major , any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

When you fixed the transmission did you replace the cooler?

C4 has very limited oil flow to the cooler at best. I had one that only flowed any at all, at highway speeds. Ran like that for years.

Sounds like it could be the seal rings on the pump snout. It would mean removal and pull pump. Who rebuilt it? They could have broke when installing the pump or converter. Not what you wanted to hear I'm sure..
