Hot Rods C-4 TRANSMISSION HELP

does anyone have specs on a ford c-4 ? length , weight , etc ........... thanks .. steve

 

Transmission around 110 lbs + converter around 30 lbs. Length 30 1/4 to 30 1/2 face of bellhousing to end of tail housing.

does anyone know the final gear ratio on a c-4 ? is it 1-1 or overdrive ? ........ thanks .. steve

 

Final drive is 1:1. It´s a 3speed.

 

a good ******, easy to rebuild too.

AODs are the over-drives, C4 & C6s are both 3 speed with final drive 1:1. You can add an overdrive, but it's not cheap!!! GearVenders I have one on a C6 in a 65 Comet Cyclone.
