Technical C 6 transmission

    What is the purpose of this attachment on the back of a c6 transmission. First time I’ve seen one on a C6 but I haven’t worked on that many either. Appreciate the help IMG_1181.JPG

    It reduces vibration. Usually found on the more expensive cars.

    Many thanks, I’ve run a couple of c6’s and never noticed any vibrations so will run without it.
