I want to be able to drop 48 chevy pickup to the ground on bags but I have a question about what frame modifications are necessary to get it that low in the back. I am thinking about going 4 link and I may have found a kit, and I am looking for bags currently. do I have to C-notch or Z the frame to get it that low. If I do C-notch or Z what problems with body fit does that bring up? I plan on tubbing the rear wheels too to get some bigger tires in there.. would that accomodate the new kickup?
    thanks [IMG]

You may be able to get by with just a c-notch, depending on wheel/tire size...If that doesn't work, then go with a small step notch and all you will need is to trim the bed for clearance...

I'm sure it's been beat to death, but what is the strongest way to reinforce a c-notch and it still look good? How much beef is needed?

I have seen F'd up minitruck frames that weren't done right, but I don't know what the truck went through to bend 'em up.

I use 3/16 plate on all my notches, and have never had anything bend...I used 1/4 plate when I first started building cars/trucks, and that was a little overkill...
