    How deep of a notch do you need on 1954 chevy to lay frame.Does someone offer a kit.Is it necessary to cut the floor.

    Gambino's has a kit, looks really straightforward.

    I used the gambino kit in my 53. It works bitchen. You can weld it up pretty good on the bench so you can weld on the inside for more strength, and then slide it on and finish up. It will lay frame for sure....heres some pics bro...
