    Hi All,

I'm looking at a 53/54 Chevy (similar to the one in the photo). If I want to do airbag front and back and have a shop do it, is it likely they will destroy the interior to perform the c-notch work or will they likely just need to remove the rear bench seat and perhaps peel back some carpet? I'm mainly concerned with ruining an interior that's already done and maybe I should look for something else already bagged.

Also if the car has a mustang 2 front end already, I'm guessing the c-notch work (having a shop do it professionally) and all the airbag tank/wiring, airbags, compressors, lines, switches, etc. would like run a total of $10k or am I way off?

Why not remove the interior yourself before bringing it to a shop? Yeah and, $10k would be a good starting point here in California. However, there's always Mexico!

thanks! Great idea I could remove the interior myself and put the front bench seat back in. Would I basically need to remove the back seat and some carpet or would I be removing way more than that?

I’d try to save money on the airbag setup if I had welding experience but I don’t and it seems its an all or nothing problem where if a shop does the metal work for the c notch and 4 link, they would have to do the rest so the car can be driven/moved.
