That doesn’t make sense but if it works it works. Possibly they machine the bellhousing down to accommodate that converter. Was the trans then overall shorter? Did the mount line up better? You had mentioned it was off.

The bell housing is definitely a different one than what I arrived with. The overall length and mount placement is back to the same as it was with the Flat-O-Matic conversion 1” shorter than the PAT/Spdway was as shipped . They did not allow me into the shop area. So I can’t swear to anything they did. All I can confirm is it has a different bell housing. He (Bill) said something to one of the techs about possibly being a C5? Thanks again for the help

    Just some info.....

Cruiseomatic/Dual range C4s have 2 drives. Regular drive “Green Dot” and “White Dot” drive.
White dot drive is 2nd gear only and was supposedly to give traction in snow and mud. Dual range C4s will be sluggish in the 2nd drive range and will overheat at highway speed.

Many of these have been damaged by running it in the wrong drive.
Being a custom application an aftermarket shifter can confuse the issue.

The valve bodies of these can be changed to the 67 up shift pattern.

The old transmission may not be as damaged as you think. Then again the ‘64 unit was the weakest of the C4s being improved upon and beefed up in ‘65.

They probably do that on purpose. Make a few simple changes so they can get around copyright laws, their stuff isn't a direct copy so they can't be sued for copyright infringement. I've heard that was legal, but I'm not a lawyer so I don't know the truth in that.
