....arrived in the mail today. Thanks to Jay for sending me a signed copy. If you guys did not read his first book, I suggest you dig up a copy, If you read the first, Im sure you have already been digging for a copy of his latest book.

    Thanks Jay.

On a different note, I spent the day at the Doc having some skin cancer removed from my forehead. Once they got the bleeding to stop using a laser gun of some kind and 10 stitches I was ok.....I dont want to sound like your dad...Im only 34, you roadster guys pack some sun block(and Denise)!!!!! This is some ugly*****.

I'll have to agree with you on both counts Glen.

Jay's (C9) new book "Pinky" is great. A must read for all hot rodders.

As far as the doc's visit, I'm really happy to hear you've taken care of the issue and are on the mend. Most women head to the doctors once a year to get everything checked out. Most men have to be taken to the docs kicking and screaming. Men should get "everything" checked out regularly. If caught in time, most stuff can be "fixed".

I do wear sunscreen (and a hat) and always carry a huge container of it. I always offer it to my passagers, and sometimes even offer to rub it on. [IMG] I've put so much sunscreen on in the last year in Big Olds, the primer on the top of my door has turned to mush and is rubbing off! [IMG]

Primer + Sunscreen is not a good combo, BUT it's a necessity [IMG]

    BTW: got your envelope today.

Ordered C9's book the other day and am waiting for it to arrive. As already stated his first one was right on the money, some of his accounts were almost an exact parallel to experiences I had at the same age (I suspect we are not that far apart in age)
So, Jay, get my copy in the mail already!!

Order it directly from Jay and not only will you get a deal on the price but he'll autograph it for you as well.

    c9mach@msn.com

"Pinky" is the lastest, "California Hot Rodder" is the other

Here's what Jay posted earlier regarding purchasing the book

"My new book, "Pinky" has been released and is available.
"Go here for information on the book along with a short excerpt:
    http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewwork.asp?AuthorID=10687

Here’s the deal, for members of the HAMB and the RRT the book is available at my price.
I have a limited amount of copies available at $18.00 each.

Shipping costs will be $3.00 for media mail.
    $5.00 for first class mail.

    Overseas shipping costs are higher.
For overseas mailing I can estimate shipping costs prior to and notify you as necessary.
In any event, no one will be charged more than noted above if you are in the United States.
For overseas purchasers, shipping costs will vary.

Media mail takes about 2-3 weeks depending on your location and first class gets there in 2-4 working days including in most cases, the weekend.
IE: mailed on Friday, there’s a good chance you’ll get it on Monday.
Overseas, time will be estimated as well.
Past mailings to Australia and New Zealand show books take about a week when Airmailed.

The books are packaged in a good fitting, sturdy cardboard box and so far they’ve arrived at their destination with no damage.

Autographed by the author if you wish.

    Email me at:
    C9Mach@msn.com
    for additional information."
