A friend and I were discussing which Cab was heavier, his D300 Inter or my 41 Ford COE So it got me to thinking, has anyone weighed their Cabs and how heavy were they. Seeya Bill
A 48-52 ford cab stripped with no doors, gas tank, seat, gauges etc is pretty light. maybe a couple hundred pounds at most? I think the complete doors with gl*** and all would be near 70-75 lbs each. 20 lbs of internals (Regulators, latches and gl*** etc, dirt and wasps nest etc in the door bottoms) I have a 39 COE parts truck Maybe I'll be able to get a better idea on weight once I start pulling it apart? Whats a D300 International look like body size wise compare to the fords? have a pictures to post? sorry not to familiar with others than Ford. I've got some dismantling to do, now if i could just find the time and motivation (both at the same time to get it done) ...
