OK this is maybe a stupid question, but I'm a gray hair looking for winter comfort! Has anyone adapted solid gl*** side windows into a gl*** 32 roadster with a soft top? I have seen the cabriolet offered by coast to coast but did not look close at the install. Anyone done this??

I guess you're talking about solid lexan side curtains rather than the original floppy style. I've seen a car or two with this kind of setup but never got to inspect them or talk to the guys who owned them. It doesn't seem like too big a deal to do.

Actually I was thinking more of an aluminum angle insert (two back to back) to form a slot at the top and a power operator to raise a solid gl*** window that fits between the door skin and the inner. Normal channels mounted front & aft for guides. Possible? Need to study the relationship of the front door vertical to the windshield - may not make sense at all.....just thinking.
