Does anyone have any CAD / CAM drawings of the 24 stud flathead motor? These drawings would save me alot of time. I am specifically looking for a deminsional drawing of the deck surface. Thanks for the help.

  4. I know this was an old post - but I have a NEW reason to have a set of CAD drawings of the deck surface. I can create them myself, or maybe one of you has a DWG, DXF, SolidWorks model, etc??

Tell you what - I'll post BACK a SolidWorks deck surface model (studs, bores and valve locations) if somebody gives me something good to start with. Otherwise, I'll get my digital caliper out and spend too many damn hours doing it the hard way.

I need this as I'm creating a CNC design to 'plug' the deck surface in the valve pocket area (with .250 thick cast iron plugs) so I have more area to seal an OHV gasket. On most flatheads the partial reliefs below the valves come close to the bore and it doesn't leave me much sealing surface for the compression ring.

    What have you guys got???
