I saw this post and couldn't resist...gotta put a pic up of the "bad cad" my mild kustom '59 Coupe deVille....would you believe that i've got over 260,000 miles on that paint job? Believe it, cuz it's true, and that's over a period of just 7 years...this pic is from this past weekend en route to the Hunnert Car Pileup in Illinois. That's my other car behind the caddy, a '30 Model A with a '59 Cadillac mill with 6 deuces, full race cam and Vertex magneto, and that's me over it tending to the carbs....

  13. Here's a couple pics of my '65 coupe deville on a recent road trip to Wa. I took off the Buick hubcaps w/bullets 'cause I was afraid of loosing 'em at freeway speeds. She's got a moderately built 472, front discs, shaved handles, side trim, emblems, etc...
Nothin' special, but lots of fun!

    Great thread BTW!

Grew up on Caddy's.... I'm on number 5 myself. Here's a pic of my '62, as well as the current project i'm early into-- a '60 CDV. To show that I don't discriminate when it comes to land yachts, i've also attached a pic of my '62 Continental...

Still looking for '57 Caddy Hubcaps, so reach out to me if you've got 'em.

  28. All those Caddies are superfly! Still tryin' to find cheap transportation to have this 64' Fleetwood brought to Florida from Philly. Afraid were going to lose the deal if we wait to much longer. Got a hopped up 500 waiting to slip into the classy chassis.
If deal goes through, will have a 429 motor and trans available.$$??

  29. The custom car scene here is not that big. Most are into "rice burners". Lots of muscle cars, plenty of Billet. But there is a small, but growing scene of trad. style Kustoms here. The car club I belong to,"the Glasspacks"(you can see our club plaque hanging under the bumper of my caddy on the rear shot), are a trad., old school style club. Cars done the '50's style.
How's the scene like in Ont.?
