The kid has a 65 cad 429, it has rail rockers. Got a spare fresh motor with the car. It also is a 429. Heres the kicker it has late model type rockers on it.Both the 429 and 472-500 have 4 bolts that secure the rockers. Now I know the heads between these motors on the exhaust sides are way different. Are the rocker trains interchangable?
The ratio for the 472-500 is 1.63 anybody know the 429 rocker ratio? Or what kind of Cad motor it is ?---FEDER

  2. the 1967 429 has the same style set up as the 472-500 but they are not the same and will not interchange with each other ..64-66 are the rail style non-adjustable rockers 64-66 are interchangeable of course.
