Who has caddy powered rides around here? I'm a huge fan of caddy engines & cars.

So, watcha got? Any tips for anyone doing the same swap you did? Like what oilpan did you use ect.

I have a '72 vintage 472ci in my '76 Sedan, it was an easy swap 'cause it came with a 500 and thats really just a bolt in. Then I have a 500ci that's on a stand thats hopefully going in my '55 olds(so anyone who might want a running 324-4bbl/hydramatic stay tuned) with a th400.

I've got a 425 going in my 29', stock bulky trans on the back of it, going to be connected to an 8" ford out back with a tri-4 link for some nice handling. Been meaning to post pics. 2007 was a busy year.

Both very good looking trucks! We should all be so lucky to have a daily driver that cool 48bill. Sounds like LOTS of power to weight on those other two projects, better make those frames X-tra strong!

Theres got to be more! I forgot to mention my "someday" twin 500ci T-Bucket. I know, I know, I've heard the "twin engines are stupid" remarks on other posts, but it would be mine & it would be cool! 730hp/1070lbft in a 2400# car........ I always figger if you can make it work on a racetrack you can make it work on the street.

we're working on a 70 F'wood frame stretch for the 47 hearse which will keep the 500 as well.

    had a '72 472 in a pickup, about 10 years ago. hell, maybe 15...

bone stock, pulled from a junkyard... dropped it in the pickup on a Friday morning with nothing but a rattle can rebuild, and headed straight to LACR. high 14s, with tons of tire spin.
after 6 months or so, i spun a rod bearing. kept driving it... even made a couple more runs at LACR, knocking the whole time.
