I'm rebuilding the motor in my '62 Cad and I want to make sure that I paint it the right color because I basically want the engine bay to look factory stock... how do I find what color it was originally? It's kind of a dark aqua color now (if that makes sense)... is that the stock color?

If so, how do I find a paint chip to use to get the right color to repaint it?

Thanks in advance for any help...

NO - dark navy blue was the correct color. Eastwood has it in spray cans or you can try: www.coopersvintage.com Bob Cooper is the Cadillac authority here in So Cal... he has everything.

I used dark Ford blue on the Caddy motor I built years ago.

The Cadillac purists might be able to tell the difference, but it was cheap.
