Once I hit about 45 my gas peddle starts pushing back towards me and gets hard to push, anyone know why? I was thinking maybe a vacuum problems or somehing to do win the cruise control? It's a 67 coupe deville

Put a Toyota pedal in it, They work on their own. Sorry I just couldn't resist.

  5. It should be pretty easy to disconnect some of the cruise control pieces and see if the problem goes away. But I think I'd be more concerned about maybe having a broken engine or transmission mount.

For safety's sake I think I'd look at that before chasing down a possible cruise control issue.
