This place was too cool not to join... So here's the low down on me. I've been into hot rodding since my dad started building his '39 Ford pickup and started subscribing to Street Rodder magazine over 20 years ago. We are a Cadillac family and as such, my dad's '39 is powered by 500 cube monster from a '75 Caddy. Beside the '39 pops has also picked up a '37 Packard. In my garage I have bikes, snowmobiles a '86 Camaro, '71 Caddy Sedan Deville, and a '67 Olds Toronado. The ones that apply to this place though are my '49 Chysler Royal and '47 Cadillac Ambulance. Both are projects right now. They both will receive Caddy power plants. The Chrysler will get a 500 motor, a chop and possible section. The ambulance body will stay mostly stock with the exception of a little smoothing. For power it's going to get the 472 from my first car, a '74 Cadillac hearse. So anyway that's my story and I'm looking forward to being on the forum.
