Well I got a call early last week from the owner of the caddy powered ch***is we built late last/ early this year (I'll post a pic.). "The car is done! and it will debut at the James Dean Run", he said. Now I had never been to the Dean Run, or the Ducktail run and I wasn't sure what to expect....I had to go... The shows were fun, pretty much what I figured, but they were free!! so That was cool...I have never seen so many stuffed animals!!!! One car was covered if stuffed ducks!!!haha But it was relaxing and I got to spend time taking pictures of what turned out to be a "Diamond in the Rough" a****st a very fun and free-minded show. enjoy the shots p.s. I had wonderful oppertunities for what would have been some very funny shots, but after taking three rolls of film on this car, I was down to ten shots left.hahaha good times
So what you poking fun at my ducks! Stuffed animals are all the rage these days just like rat rods. Maybe rat rods with stuffed animals! Always a pleasure seeing you again as you obviously don't get out much. For anyone who has a chance to see this car in person it is perfect in every way. The attention to detail is overwelming it truly is a work of art. Is that what you wanted me to say? I was atracted to it like flys to a rib roast. Haven't got a chance to slap and tickle Plowboy for you yet but you can bet I will, long and hard. Keep up the good work and check ya later man!
Hey Matt, How have you been. Did you learn any new Do wop songs while you were there the 3 window sure turned out nice. It's almost a shame that beautiful frame had to be covered by a body. Are you coming to the pile up?
Hey Rudy, I've been alright, you? No do wop songs, but I did see a kid trying to impress his girlfriend by deep ********* an icecream!!! true,true....sad, but true.. I won't be at the pile-up......... HRD
Very cool. I want to say I saw the frame at Goodguys Indy this year? Nice work. I'm curious about the Cad motor. I've been thinking of putting one in my '36 Ford project, but don't know much about them. I'm ***uming the one in the deuce is a mid-50's? Any big clearance issues? And can it be adapted to a T-5 ******? Any advice on this would be great. Thanks.
Matt, words just tease and actions impress. I want to see you at the pileup so you can follow thrugh with your sweet talk.
Easy talking about my sister that way. Besides I thought you would want to snuggle up the seacrest! That is bad *** man. Can I live inyour closet now that you are out of it! Ha Ha!
Did he go and paint the body? I talked to him awhile back and he was going to leave the cracked up paint and all.. Looks like he freshed it up a bit...
What year's the mill? I can see he's running the early valve covers and the late finned exhaust manifolds...looks great! Tell him to get it to the pile-up so I can park my A bone next to it...here's a pic of my caddy mill
Chris 50, that ch***is was at Indy this year... I'm not sure what the anwsers are to the Trans. questions The Engine is a 1958 390 with tons of speed parts inside, We gave him all the info on it when he bought it, so I don't know specs... continentaljohn, He did end up painting the car, actually finished wheeling it out at 4am. the day of the show! His plans were to just put the body on it with the orig. paint, but he thought the car turned out too nice....He said he was still going to drive the **** out of it, so that's cool!! Here is a picture of the rear suspension
