Yeah, well I don't want to cut the wheel wells or floor boards out of it, and i've got a pretty tall tire, so I'll bag it so it hits the ride height it's at now, and as low as it goes will be as low as it goes kinda thing, yanno? that blue one is ***ties though.
yeah you're right, that is a tall tire. looks like an all-terrain tire, haha. cutting the floor isn't a big deal. you just cut a little to clear the driveshaft. if you want to cut the coils, I cut 2 out of the front and 2.5 out of the rear and it's damn low as is.
its actually the same diameter as the stock 235/75/15. I know cutting the floor is not a big deal, but up here, a car this old with solid floor boards are not something you find every day, so I am NOT cutting it. I guess I'm a ***** I just might drop the rear about 2 inches and leave the front the way it is for a while until I decide. I plan on keeping this car for a while, so I don't want to do anything rash. I usually take quite a while to decide what I really want, but once I do, I'm really happy with it.

133, Any idea what's been done to this car to get it that low, cause my 68 is basically laying frame, or so it seems looking under front wheel wells, but the back end don't look as low? That does sit Sweet!!!
133, I Put the Caddy Wires on the 68 today, I definately think they cl***y it up a bit. Also, it still retains the BBC (Big Block Caddy)!!

Thanks, everytime I looked at Nadine with her wires, I kept thinking this is definately what this Cad needs, I've seen alot of the late 60's cars with the 20" plus wheels, but I don't think you can go wrong with the wires.

How many spokes are you running in your wires? I know the norm is 48 but there is also a company out of So Cal that does 56 spokes. They look awesome. I'll probably the 56 wires on my Sedanette.
48 spokes on the 68, and 52 spokes on Nadine, I actually like the 52 a little better, but most people will never tell the difference.

now THAT looks good! I did not know the differences when I bought the car, but it turns out 67 is probably my favorite post-60 Cadillacs. I love the slanted vertical headlights, and I like the hood/grill better than the 68, not to mention the lack of rear side markers and the body color valance on the bottom of the bumper. Dash could use a bit more style, but typical of its era.
I've owned a 52 vert, 55 coupe, 60 coupe, 60 vert, 50 choptop, 65 vert, and now the 68 vert, so it's kinda my first rodeo with the late 60's cads, so tell me the difference between the 67 and 68, I know the grills a little different, and it's got a 472, but the hood and headlights look the same, or so I thought, any other major differences other than rear bumper grills, just curious.
Caddyman...I think you have covered all the differences between the 67 and 68's those are about the only differences in the two that I can think of. There may be a few changes in the front suspension but I believe the body panels are all the same. Regardless, the 68 is the finest driving car I've ever owned.
i'm not the biggest fan on the 67-68 body style but there is one design flaw that i can't understand, and that is the steering wheel.
