Praise the lowered! Nothing looks better to me than a Caddy laid out on the ground. forget Mercs...it takes a real man to modify a Caddy. Charles
anybody into checking out a cool cadillac show this sunday the 25th in cupertino, ca. hit me up .. theres about 12 of us cruising are cars there ...might even be more by friday .... A32Flathead is going with us so there should be great photos .....thanks ......
I think that's what sets them apart, don't get me wrong, I love a slammed out, chopped Merc, but it's kind of like a 70 chevelle, you kinda expect to see one, but you don't expect to see one of America's most elegant cars slammed, chopped, or customized, that's what makes them so dang cool, I never get tired of looking at them, and your right, it's not easy finding parts for these old Caddys, especially repro!!!!!!!!!!
Oddly enough, between mine and Nadine (and of course, this thread), I'm getting used to seeing slammed Caddy's. You mean, there isn't one in every town? Mine's going to Franks soon. I asked for the Nadine Stance.
Thanks for the comments guys. This great thread always gives me motivation to keep working on them.. B
I talked to Frank last week, I may take my 68 convertible to him to C-notch it, I'm getting the bumpers chromed, and the Grill powder coated and polished right now, it should be ready this weekend, it's comming right along, it's already bagged, but I may lay it a little lower, if everything goes as planned it will be a full custom before long, I've already put the wire caddy wheels on, and had the interior completely redone, next step is custom paint, set up for the fall, thinking of HOK limetime green.
What? Suprised or dissapointed? I felt it needed something more to break up the white....never big on flames, but these seaweed flames after a long layout was the ticket. 3 different pearls and 3 different flakes and color matching pinstriping. I think it enhances the car greatly, I like it even more! Even lost the DC badge on the roof.
ah... I get it. New window seals installed, felts and channels today. Anyone got any 1964 Cadillac parts cars laying around? need a few things!
i know its a custom i did the original paint and "custom" work to it! thanks for clarifying that for me! but this is the last for me. car does look good. chopped50ford i might be in California this coming weekend, so i can hand deliver the rest of the parts cause for some reason i just cant seem to remember i still owe you the stuff til i get home each night and its to late.
can you guys give me advise on wat i can do with my caddy? im 16 but theirs nothing i love more then caddys
