Well been awhile since I've had a chance to work in the ol digger but I've made a skosh o progress I've got a fuel pump drive bracket made and got the belt drive attached then made the rear x braces and tacked them in set the seat in granted I'm not a big fan of this fiberglass deal but it's what I have and for now it's just gonna have to work for now also I have located the brake handle next up throttle pedal clutch pedal and fuel tank mount anyhow here are a few pics

Made a skosh more progress throttle pedal, clutch pedal, brake handle, master cyl mounted and the front X in the frame for support and fuel tank mount unfortunately a sweet moon or eelco tank and brackets are not in the budget so I'm gonna have to use the hand me down homemade tank in the pic however if anyone has a tank that they would let go at a real deal I would be intrested because that would sure make the digger that much better
Anyway here are a few pics

Been awhile since I have posted an update basically cause I haven't had much time to work on the digger however I have made some progress and things are starting to slow down so I can spend more time on this thing and get it ready to race anyhow I now have a shifter that functions and started on body panels I have 5 panels made but only have two dzues fastened on hopefully lll have the others attached in the next few days things are shaping up and not much setup left to do then the finish work begins you know the progress that shows nothing for awhile then blam it's done anyways here are a few pics

Actually the pic doesn't show how solid it is it's made out of 1/2" solid barstock and it has to be bent like that for it to work and clear everything I've beat on it real good trying to bend it and it just works also I won't have to shift it much probly won't even have to use first at all probly just a 2-3 shift once I do appreciate the thoughts though I always am open to better ideas

Thanks dale and I'll keep ya posted. Carl as much as I wanna make eagle probly not gonna happen this time but it is on the plan to make eagle field at some point I would love to come out there and leave your digger in the dust lol.

Anyways more progress has happened I finally got the other body panels fitted I gotta say that top panel was a real sum bitch to make with my primitive tools lol but after countless hours I have got it pretty good first time I have worked with aluminum sheet metal and it is way different than steel definately a learning experience with a little more trimming and massaging it will be just fine also tacked up the headers I wasn't sure about how the weed burner style would look but I kinda like it not to mention I think it will be safer to tune the engine than a straight up zoomie style
