I had a 390 rebuilt for my 62 Coupe DeVille, but the dipstick tube broke off the block while removing it. I've been looking everywhere and have nad no luck finding a new one. Anyone else have this problem? I know there are some Cadillac guys on here so someone has to know.

    Contact Jason Edge jasonedge@2nc.rr.com

He does mostly 63 64 but he might tell ya if a 62 will work or a 63 390 be modified to work.

  3. Send a pm to Ryno---I sold him a 390/hydro last year...turned out to be a 365.(refunded Rynos $$$, so I still own it;))...you pay shipping and whatever he wants for his trouble, and you can have the dipstick/tube outta my motor

If I have a parts engine how can I safely get the tube out of the block? I have thought about trying to find a universal tube that will work with the stock dipstick and I can cut it to length but not sure if that would work.
