cadillac harmonic balancer ???

anyone know if the harmonic balancer on the 500 caddy engine is interchangeable with the 429?

i'm in need of one for my 429 but the guy that has one says the car went on fire so he's not sure how good it is. dont want to spend $40 plus shipping from montana to cali for it to suck. thanks

 

500" Cad has no harmonic balancer, just a hub on the end of the
crank. Try checking the forum over here.
