Im looking for a floor shifter for a Cadillac Hydra-Matic that is going in my project. I know that Hurst, B&M, and Ansen all made them, but they are evidently hard to find. If anyone knows of any other options available, or have a lead on a vintage one let me know.

They are pretty hard to find. Hurst, B&M, Ansen, Drag Fast, Sparkomatic... There are one or two other manufacturers as well.

I don't know of, or have any, currently for sale. But I do try to put sellers in touch with buyers when I can through the Hydro Tech group. There is also a lot of Hydro tech info in the group too. You can find it here. (You have to join to see the posts and info.

  3. Seems like I'm always blabbering on about what I did in the '50's, but here goes. I had a '50 Olds and no money so I just flipped the lever over and welded a stick on it that stuck up through the floorboard. Pretty hokey, but it did the job back in the day.

Here's an old B&M hydrostick and Hurst Hydrogate. I've previously read threads on the HAMB about them both. 402998-1343538629-ab54c7196d7f4b994192c032459eed17.jpg
