I have an old Isky 505 camshaft that I'd like to use in my Caddy 390 build. Need help determining what type lifters (solid, hyd, roller) I need to use. I understand Chevy lifters will work. Any guidance appreciated.
Call isky and ask…..I live close but they still know all their products. Give them everything off the end. I always use THEIR recommendations.
They made quite a few versions of their infamous '505' . . . it will depend on the material of the cam and what type of lifter it was designed for.
