yeah, details details. I've got a 68....not a convert though that is my daily driver that I plan on doing the same thing to. Its pretty much the same color too.

I love it. You guys never cease to amaze us all with your work. I gotta take a trip out there someday to check out your shop.

But yeah, details would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

  5. How come us guys get so emotional about frickin' cars?? LOL :D
    Very cool ride.

P.S. hope my project 64 Fleetwood turn out this good when done. What is it about Cadillacs that makes them so bitchin'??

my hard drive is filled with photos of baggedmitsu's Caddies. it does what what the new owner of the '63 Vert is going to do with it. Can't wait to see the '53 done up.

Here are some pics of the one off rear frame build up and C notch that was needed due to the limited space in the rear because of the convertible top compartment. Alex and Dave worked overtime on these. Smaller tires were needed as well in order to lay frame and permit ability to drive low.

3'' c notch out back, this convert we had to figure out how to do the notch between the top of the frame and under the floor(it was a bitch).we didnt want to cut into the floor cuz thats where the top rests when down and also it has a glass back window so right where you would normaly do a notch where suport rods suportihg the back window.we also extended the upper trailing arms 1/2''cuz it had to much axel roll and pinion change so what we did was made mock up arms out of wood at 1/2'' incraments untill we found the optamon length.we also used stock caddy electric window switches (for the bag switches)and installed them where the window lock was in the door arm rest bezzel.
this caddy will come back for the full mild custom treatment.
we also had to notch the tranny x member so we chould run dual exhaust on these caddys when you lay em out like this theres not a whole lot of room to run exhaust.
the front bags where the H6 slambag equivelant, out back where 4 ply conti tec bags.we also ran shorter shocks out back

Thanks for the pics and the info Zombie and Alex. Like I said, I've got one as my daily driver, but the minute I bought the car I said it HAD to get bagged. I appreciate it.

I just so happen to know where there's a 68 Caddy Coupe DeVille hardtop the same color as the Gambino Caddy that's clean as hell and for sale for $6000. Hint Hint.

It will be on the classifieds in about an hour.
