Found other uses for the battery box location

    1. Hot metal slide during summer
    2. Goonies holding on for dear life
    3. Indiana Jones in the pit of snakes
    4. Iron Maiden in a Iron Maiden

Joking aside someone said that it might be a older build because of battery location because they used too leak more in the 50’s and 60’s
    Fingers crossed

More than likely, they wanted to get it out of the engine compartment.

    You forgot a beer cooler...:D

I'm actually surprised there's that much room under there...not the first old car that had a battery under the floor...

Congratulations on your latest acquisition...that's a real clean machine.

You say the owner was 83. Wow, I guess I'll have another 10 years with my 51' Merc. Looking forward to that.

You started your Thread in the Hokey *** Forum rather than the Traditional Custom Forum...the mods can port it over for you...In the future you go to Forums and select the Forum you prefer and then Open a New Thread...hope that helps @Austinrod...

@Moriarity, could you move this Thread to the Traditional Custom Forum as it was started in The Hokey *** Forum in error. I know @Austinrod would appreciate it...;)

    Thanks in advance...

Great car @Austinrod. I came across it the internet, and thought what a nice ride. Glad somebody on the H.A.M.B. got it.
