Technical Cal custom grille bullet delete?

I have 2 pieces i bought as cal custom grille bullet delete covers for my 53 ford, 1 of them halfway fits, the other doesnt even remotely fit. Can anyone identify these?

 

The long skinny one kinda looks like it'd be for 49-50 Fords, usually used in conjunction with a '51 hood and upper grille bar. The shinier one does look vaguely like the '53 Ford one, is that the one that kinda fits? I would not expect the fit to be that great, these were not super high end pieces in their day.

 

Its actually the opposite.. the one on the right almost fits and the other is WAY off.
