I may have sold my 33 Chevy coupe body to a guy in Ca, and the deal is I'm gonna deliver it. Anyone know what's happening allong the way in the next few weeks? Not sure when I'll leave Detroit, but if there's anything (Swap meets etc. I'd like to visit them. It'd be neat to plan the trip around them.

Points west perhaps??/ I don't know too much of what s going on in the western states in the winter months BUT my suggestion is to take the southern route there especially if your going to be pulling a trailer. I've been thru some of the mountainous states in the snowy winter and it ain't much fun when you hit a snow storm and they close the highway.

If I were heading to CA this month, the Roadster Show would be a must on my list.

Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, AZ in a couple of weeks would be a good stop as well. Some here might not "dig" that scene but I had fun there checking everything out. Plus the cruz nites in the area during that time are HUGE.

If your in the Huntington Beach area on a Saturday morning, you could check out the Donut Derelicts.

Plan 9, nothings going on with Big Olds right now. 40 hours per week at one job, 25 hours at another, plus keeping a boyfriend "happy" with a date every now and then sure doesn't leave much time for tinkering in the garage. Not too worry though, he'll be ready to roll with new "shoes", and top, and hopefully a whole "new" look by spring. [IMG]

Jan 18th is the Pomona Swap Meet. Jan 23-25 is the Grand National Roadster show also at the Pomona Fairplex.
By the way, if you are going through Detroit I have a guy there who owes me a few parts off a late model Firebird (door, console, and some small parts)...would you have room and be willing to haul these parts out to CA if I set it up? Thanks...
