Does anyone remember the episode on the Speed Channel years ago with the California Kid. I have looked for a copy and cannot find any info on it. It had Pete Chapouris in it and told about the car and locations used in the movie. I thought the name of it was return of the Kid, but I can't find anything on it. Does anyone remember seeing it know where to get a copy.

DVD cover art has the Kid in it's Halibrand motif rather than steelies w/ caps/rings as it appeared in the movie. For me and a zillion others, the California Kid and American Graffiti slingshot us into Hot Rods in the early 70's.
Just sat here and watched the whole movie from the link above from Stogy. Man, what a cheezy *** movie, but that car is awesome!
The other day while watching Apocalypse Now I was thinking that boat would've looked good decked out in California Kid colors with Martin at the helm, nobody would've attacked that thing.
