I ran across this website a few months ago and procrastinated about joining, but decided to get on the ball and do it. So here I am. As my profile states, I got my first car at age 12. Paid $ 15.00 for it. It was a 1930 model A coupe. I tore it all apart down to the frame and did a frame up construction. The 4-banger got a 4 inch bore, Jahns pistons, pontiac rods, winfield cam and 12 to 1 head with dual stromberg 97's. The coupe got a 3" dropped axle with 5.50's up front and 7.50 slicks on the rear with 4.11 gears. When I turned 16 I took it to the dragstrip and trophied the first time out. It managed 73 mph. So much for my start. Since then I have raced and wrenched dragracing, bonneville, and sporty car events. My now car is a '57 chevy two dr. post with a 383 stroker and a 700 R4 ****** and 4.11 posi. As my name says, NOTDEADYET!
