I just purchased a pair of 11" rotors for Mustang II dropped spindle update. The pictures of the GM caliper bracket looks like something I can easily cut out with the plasma. My questions are, what GM calipers are they talking about when they say "Big GM", also what bearings do I use? I haven't received the rotors yet, so I haven't compared things. What are your thoughts, information, and experiences on this. Thanks

dude I dont know who you are.. and I am not a member of the "INTRO police" BUT.. please DONT even try to make these "simple" brackets I bought mine for UNDER 100 bucks. with all the grade A hardware.. even if it only took me an hour to make them I feel that I would have lost money.. please just buy the damn things from a reputable company. Picuture this: You decide to make these "simple brackets" yourself and save what 100 bucks? well no cause you still need the material and the TIME. later after your "DEATH ROD" is on the road and flying down the highway something happens to your "low buck caliper brackets" next thing you know a big crash ensues and someone is hurt.. then what? no company to go back on.. but hey you saved X amount... \ seriously I think ECI sells the bracket kit for 140 bucks.. go buy the parts from a reputable company.. please see this spam and save someones life FORD (4-1/2) Bolt Circle - uses 75-80 Granada/Monarch rotor and 70-77 Camaro/Firebird caliper (or equivalents). Kit is supplied with modified GM pads. NOTE: spacers can be transferred to new GM pads. DOES NOT MOVE WHEELS OUT EC-721F..............................................Basic Kit $ 140.00
Buy the brackets, The shape and size are critical. I have that setup on my pickup, can't remember but I think stock Granada bearings. The bracket seller can give you all the details. Money well spent.......OLDBEET
You need to see "da man", ElPolacko. Steve owns a chassis shop called Industrial Chassis in AZ. He's a cool guy and sells good stuff.
Seriously! Even MY cheap ass is buying the $125 ECI bracket and hardware kit to adapt discs to my low-buck ride....and I am the KING of frugality!!! Cut corners somewhere else...brakes and steering are far too critical to fuck around with using cobbled up junk! You've ALREADY crashed and burned on the flight deck by dropping out of the sky without so much as a "hello"...do yourself a favor by extending us the courtesy of a little background info on you and your project...and do others on the road with you a favor by showcasing your plasma-cutting skills on less critical parts!
I am a member of the INTRO POLICE- welcome can I kiss your ass?the 11 inchers for the most part took a monte carlo or malibu[metric ] caliper. also if you are talikin about granada 11 inchers you use stock 77-80 granada bearings on a pinto must II spindle[dropped or stock] also you must use 15 inch wheel instead of 14 on the front now...OH please do an Intro before some bastard's gets upset......
I have 14x6 slot mags on my front end. Had to grind a bit off the caliper, balance weights must be placed just rite.....OLDBEET
