Any good car clubs around? Met a few kontinentals out at austin, anything like that down here in houston? katy?
Dont really know of any clubs but alot of guys are getting together at Target in Seabrook on Saturdays. Alot pretty nice rides show up there.
There a few clubs here but it seems most of them are of the musclecar variety. The Outkasts are out of Trinity but some of their members are in Houston. We oughta start an affiliation here. Speaking of get togethers...there is a good meet in the Spring area on Saturday nights. Kroger parking lot on Spring Cypress past Kuykendahl going west. 300 cars mostly.
Yep, Houston Roadsters, Outkasts, Hot Rod Hoodlums, theres a Hispanics sounding one that for the life of me I can't remember Los Something or other. But they aren't hispanics just all have some kick ass Bombs. There are a lot of rods in Houston. We've had a small regular HAMB get together every month for about 8 or 9 months at Jimmies Ice House in the Heights. The Champions Show every Saturday is also pretty good. The last time I was up there had a great time with Jabber and Truitt. That show has everything though including late model Mustangs. Two weekends until Day of the Drags in Academy, TX just south of Temple. Thats a do not miss Texas event. Hope that helped. I think I'm going to start my own club. Stray Dogs, you can take us home but we'll still piss on your tires. Or something like that, LOL.
Yeah its up at Champions but you would be extremely surprised at the amount of bona fide hot rods that show up. We're going tonight. (Spring Cypress at Champions Forest) You have your usual lot of Mustangs and Camaros but the hot rods get equal treatment. I can't count how many times I've pushed my way into my own car. We need a good show here though. The show in Spring Texas is on today and tomorrow but regular hot rods are sorely under represented. I did pass one of the Hoodlums '55 Gasser on the way out though.
Thats them. That drove me crazy I couldn't think of it. Then late yesterday afternoon while driving to Bryan it hit me. Yeah cool guys I met a fair bit of them at Ty's shop when they had that little show/get together over there.
Yeah Los Cochinos Amigos..... Adrain and Ivan are some cool doods, they help me out with my car, and hang out at there place every once and a while, they are gonna help me finish my 54........

Houston Roadsters, Outkasts, Hot Rod Hoodlums all are good folks. There are alot of rodders in the area we just seem to be spread out all over town.

Couldn't agree more. Is anyone caravaning to Temple on Saturday morning? I will be headed to the DotD and the more the merrier.
We're rolling up to Austin Friday... gonna video the action on Congress and then caravan out to Temple Sat morning.
We got some comedy show tickets for Friday night, Joe Rogan, Charlie Murphy, and some last comic standing dude. The wife wont miss it. So going to miss Friday night, but at least I got someone to cover my Saturday so I can roll up.
