  4. Here is a quick update on some of my progress :) Got the window surrounds done on the Drivers side. Hope to have the passenger side done tomorrow. :)

    Still got lots to do, but Im chugging away to be ready for Mooneyes.

    Ill take better pictures tomorrow.

    Wow, what a cool event!!! :D Wish I could have been there!!!

    How about putting all the pictures together as a timeline and post it in the tech-section as a "Hot to chop a Shoebox"? That would be soooo nice, kinda tough to have a "quick overview" on the 23 pages here!! ;-)

    Congrats on the chop, it looks damn cool! :)

  9. Alright, more updates on the HAMB Chop Shoebox.

    Got the passenger side done and a vent wing chopped down.

    whew...this is alot of work. :)

    i was planning on coming up to help you out this morning but i woke up late and i have to go to todds house for my neices birthday party. see you tuesday.
     
  15. Okay, more updates, but no pictures.

    I got about 1/2 of the rear of the roof welded in.

    Im Mig welding the lower section since its pretty straight. As for above the window, im TIG'ing it in so I can "Hammer Weld" it, to move the metal around to keep from getting low and high spots.

    I would say by next weekend, I should be doing body/prep work on the roof area.

    Ill post picts tomorrow.
