WOW with all the quality HAMB help Youre gettin this chop should be a breeze! Me My Son and a freind chopped My Shoebox last Thanksgiving.
We stripped the interior and glass Wed night. Started choppin on thursday and had it all down and 90% welded out on Sunday.There is a thread on it here. The Feds 2nd annual Thanksgiving day chop. With all the people You have I cant wait to see how far You get. Keep us posted. FEDER

We are gonna caravan together so we'll have canopies, chairs, food and drinks, napkins, plates etc... Should i also bring a couple folding tables? What about firewood? (for the pit) let me know

 

i've been keeping and eye on this thread. it seems like you have everything you might need plus more.


don't forget to have:

first aid kit
gloves
safety glasses
welding helmets for spectators too
ear plugs
welding blankets
toilet paper (you'll have a lot of guest over)

Hey guys, I've been following this thread since day one, but my wife and I had made plans to go out of town, but I just told her I'd like to do the HAMB CHOP.
I'd like to attend if you will have me.
I would to bring some tools (welder, grinder, jigsaw, sawsall even a plasma cutter if needed, handtools etc)
Let me know if your "full".

 

if you still dont mind havin a girl hangin around...count me in.
i dont have tools to bring, any sort of chopping skills or a whole lot of muscle...but im a pretty good cheerleader, i wouldnt mind watching and learning a little something and i can bring food and drinks.

Dreadman i was hoping you would chime in and add your name to the list, would be great to see you there.

ive mentioned the "hamb chop 06" to the other gals. we'll see who can make it. otherwise, one belle is better than no belles.

 

So it's official, I'm in. T-shirt size is large.
Norm mentioned we could use another 110V mig. I'll bring a 110V mig (selfshielding) and a 220V mig (C25), post a pic of your 220v outlet so I can bring the right adapter.
I'll bring some food and drinks also, cool.
What about sheet metal????

As for metal. We got some 19 ga. coming, but I would say bring some if you got it. (19 or 20 ga.) Never know. Better to have too much, than not enough.

Safety gear would be great. Im very limited with what I have. Ear plugs (yes), Glasses (no), Gloves (a few pairs but more could help), Extinguisher (I hope we wont need it )

If Ken can bring the safety gear great, but I am sure I can get glasses, gloves, and ear plugs through my connection. Make that list and I will start working on it, so I can confirm what I will be able to bring.
