Calling all Metal-men - HAMB Chop '06 - So. Cal.

Dude, theres a 41 truck cab there we can chop, too. I'm totally cool with that idea. Norm and I were jokin around about that today. Or he also has some 55 Olds headlight rings we could put on the 50, too. Theres a modified out back we could mock up.

Not a shortage of projects out there at Norms.

 

Okay, one week to go.

Any suggestions? Lets lay em down.

Im running frantic getting the place cleaned up and ready.

Im stoked and loosing sleep over it.

Shirts have been ordered and should see them in the mail in a few days - Huge thanks to Marcy!!!! You rock!

Still fumbling over what is going to be served at dinner.

My Suggestions:

1. If you got them fold up "car show" chairs...bring them.
1a. If you have ice chests. Might be a good idea to bring them.
2. If your bringing food (I know people suggested to bring food)....we should start posting it now for all to see.
2a. Breakfast: Bud, myself and others bringing Donuts and Coffee. Does everyone drink coffee? If not, milk and prune juice?
3. Lunch will be the food people are brining. Ill have the BBQ out for use if needed.
4. Dinner...still undecided....Ill have that covered by Friday.

Idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking. This would be great for our fellow HAMB'r RoadApple (Coby) to be at. I don't know physically if this is possible or not. It would be great to have him there to do his photo magic and maybe? get them in the 2nd issue that had to be put on hold due to his medical condition. Maybe gear it up for a 3rd issue? I do leave my computer on all day 'till I have to leave to work. That is why it looks like that I am actually on all the time. Note that I am signed off from like 2 p.m. till around 11-11:45'ish! Then I cannot wait till I see what all that I have missed while I was at work. What can I say....I am addicted to this site! KNUX!

 

Norm, I don't know if it's such a good idea to serve Prune Juice to a bunch of Greasy Wrenchers.......Unless you got an outhouse! Hey there's an idea! How about renting an outhouse for the event, I think you can get one for the whole day for like $100. and the drop off and pick up. Try Andy Gump, or some other Company. Whatcha think?

Hey here's an idea, Since we have alot of help. Why don't we get two shoeboxes there and cut two at the same time..Maybe Norms with the posts left in and the other hardtopped. They would look good side by side in the Mag. Just an idea...

 

webcam hosting quotes came up to high and the feed would be to slow for what they were offering so that idea was aced.

I can provide the camera, mini DV, tripod and laptop for uploading images/video while this is all going down. BadBob just need to point me to camera placement and duration of the shot. he is the director of this get together, right?

Oh man! I almost missed out! I haven't been here lately but Badbob mentioned it to me yesterday and here I am...trying to rearrange my plans so I can go. Count me in for sat morning for sure, and sunday if it becomes a two days. I'll bring whatever is still needed plus my mad watching skills.
