OK Captain,.. Just need a 110v for power, CAT5 internet, and a station where I will not get in the way of the chop and I think we are set. I will try to update the Hamb community as best I can while this is going down.

  3. Okay...with a few days left, I would like to get those who are bringing stuff, tools, metal, food to please chime in and list them so I know what to get and NOT to get.

...and I thought this would be easy  Whew!

If thats what it takes, there will be a hardtop Lincoln there tomorrow. She's been patient waiting for the chopoff to be over before she showed up. Lets talk Norm. See you Saturday with a cooler of sodas, sawzall, niblers, sanding discs, hammers, dollys, slappers and a 53 Lincoln hardtop. Later, Mike.

What a Big Ol Batch. Thank You.. all i want is just one as well.ok maybe two.

  14. This IS the profile I want w/ Leaning posts. I was stuck on the upright posts, but I and a few others think they will take away from the lines of the car; so slating them it is. I still want functionality in all windows, including vents. I really like the way the roof line is in the back. Asthetically proportional.

    Keeping the drip rails.

6" chop in the front, lay the back asthetically proportional.

    What do you think?

Okay...I hope people are following the thread:

Start time is: Ill be up at 6am. show up anytime there after. Basically, Killer will be "leading" the team for the chop. When he arrives and wants to start...then we will.

Next: Im fumbling over dinner. What sounds good? :) I got to go shopping for the stuff Friday. Suggestions please? If we cook...we will need a cook'er at the BBQ or I can order out (ie: Cater food, Pizza, yadda, yadda.)

Im thinking Hawaiian BBQ. Beef, Chicken, Rice, salads and other stuff.

I am not expert sweetie but I think you really could use some more bracing. Run some from the bottom edge of the B pillar/window area to the floor on the other side..... in both directions.;)

Denise is correct about the bracing, that will be one of the first steps taken when the chop crew gets there on Saturday. Chopped50 has done a good job removing the flammables from the interior in preparation for the chop. The only thing I would add is that the dash and steering wheel should be masked off to prevent any inadvertant damage from metal or sparks.
I talked with Killer about the schedule, he's leaving at 6:00 AM and should be up there between 8 and 9. It's a 1:45 drive for me from San Diego so I am planning on being there around 8:30. Cya...

I just got of the ringer with the man himself (road apple) Coby. He would love to be there at the chop but due to his medical reasons he will be in spirit. He says hi to all and take alot of pics for a possible Church mag #3!!!!!!!!!!! I told him that I would make sure that would be covered. This is going to "ROCK"!!!!!!!!!!! KNUX!
