Guys I have some questions that I hope anyone who wants can give me their opinions. I have a 50 Shoebox. I bought her with a sbc 350. I wanna put a new cam in it that will give me that real sweet lope, but not so big that I'd have to switch to a stall type converter. You chevy guys have any suggestions as far as lift and duration, even cam make? I have to find the right intake also. It has a throttle body I'll get rid of but need suggestions on intakes. The heads are NOT VORTEC but they do have the center bolts for the valve covers and the two center bolts are angled into the head, they don't bolt straight in like the two end bolts. The intake needs to accommodate a dual line 750 Holley carb I've picked up.
I bought a 8 1/2 inch read end in case I end up with too many horses for the original 50 rear end to handle. Anyone think this read end is worth trying to sell? I also have the original fender skirts that came on the car. I have it lowered so much I don't want to use them. Are they worth trying to sell? Thanks IMG_8310(1).jpg HAMBERS, I'll be watching to see if y'all have any ideas for me,

Hey Jalopy, I wasn't listing anything for sale just asking if the stuff I have is WORTH selling. Read my post again and you'll see I was asking questions, not advertising merchandise for sale. Thanks for the heads up anyway. LOL, you the only reply of any type I've gotten from my post. Sure haven't gotten any ideas or suggestions.

The original rear end will not last for long ! I got like 300 hp in my smallblock ! rear end died after 15 minutes driving.

    swekustom,
Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I'm glad I made the purchase of the 8 1/2 inch rear end to replace the original. It's 3/4 inch wider, but I'm hoping it will work so I can still get the back wheels on and off. If not, then back to work looking for that Maverick rear end.
