I have a good cam out of a Chevy 327. I am tring to find out what the cam is. All I can find for #'s is GM 52 or 6930on the cam. Does any body now if this might be the 300 h. cam or is it just a plain old stock cam. Came out of an old ford grain truck that we had swaped in there before i was born so not sure what kind of car or truck it came out of. Thanks
The funny thing is the 300HP 327 cam became the standard stock cam for for almost all Chevy Smalls until the anti-pollution era. The moniker 300HP helps sales alot.
going by gm cam part number designations of the period, I'm taking a wag that the part number is 3896930. dang, shoulda known squirrel would be me to it.....
