Wanted to buy a car at the Roundup, but decided to build one instead.Remembered a co-worker had told me this was in her backyard.Went and looked and Wife said take it home. Not really looking for a wagon but this was too cool, and too complete. This will be cleaned up and se****s on the seats. Then up for sale, still want a fenderless car.
    Any more ideas?
Any more Edsel wagons out there?

Wow, a 58 Edsel wagon? Man that thing is pretty cool.

I used to never care for wagons either, but they can grow on you.

Dude, drive that thing a while. I love the odd-ball wagons. And there can't be too many of those rollin' through your hood.
    Keep it.......

  5. damn that thing is nice bro. I'd keep it. I have been looking for something cool for the wife and kidos to drive, but that would be a bit long for her tastes. I think she needs a business coupe or something like that. Too bad she isn't into those big ***ed rides, I found a '66 lincoln I would have gotten for her. :) too damn long she says. :( Drive that bad boy around we used to have a chrysler wagon with a 383 it was wicked.

  6. I officially dislike you. ;)(Mom always said, "We DON'T hate")

Hell, I'd drive the paint off of that. It looks real clean and solid. Wagons are the next best thing to a truck and you don't get rained on when you're napping in the back.

This is a pic of our bagged 58 edsel wagon. It is vin# 210. As far as I know this is the first 6 p***enger edsel wagon to roll off of the ***embly line. Build date is 07/17/1957.

Yours looks cool....drive it for a bit then turn it! Let me know what the asking price will be. I always seem to get someone looking for a 50's wagon.

I would think that you would buy the car and drive it, or at least show some interest in it, before you "flip it". Flippers are uncool, smells like used car salesman in here, your not a hobbiest, your in it for the opportunity to make a fast buck. Too bad someone more appreciative didn't get ahold of it. I hope you make a liar out of me.:(

if thats how you really feel, i advise you NOT to look in the cl***ifieds section. rust-buckets with no intention of being built being sold left and right.

*****in' wagon, nmbuellist. enjoy doing WHATEVER you want with the car YOU bought.

I really have no desire for another wagon, but if I got that thing, I'd buff out the black and flake this **** out of the red, slam it, and drive the **** out of it!

That thing is way too cool! I have always loved wagons and have owned several. Always wanted a '58 Edsel. You are a lucky dude. I'd be getting it running and driving the wheels off it if'n it were me! :)
