At this very instant the news is showing a story about all these ENORMOUS old trees that got knocked down in Como Park in St. Paul last night. It wasn't even that much of a storm. I think the trees are rebelling...

Accually it makes good fire wood dry it out for 12mths and burn it smells good too JR only explodes if its wet

They were desirable because the wood was as strong as oak but unlike oak eucalyptus grew very fast. It was only after they tried to split the trees into railroad ties that they found that the grain of the tree spiraled and could not be easily split into square ties. Now we're stuck with a bunch of these trees and no koalas to eat them....
