I bought a used stroker kit and got this camshaft with it. I dont know what its application is. It is out of a 302 I a sure of that. I was told that I can take it to a machine shop and they can tell me all about it.

On the flat end it has two #'s

819522 and D030M or really D0??? I think I can make out the last 3 numbers

on the shaft between the lobes:
on one side: D4 and under that 1207
On the other side C4 under that WC (I think) and under that 26

The car that it was in was a 1985 mustang gt tha supposadly had trickflow heads and this cam is supposed to have "a 300 lift". If the part # cant be referenced (believe me Ive tried) then I would just like to know if its for a roller motor what kind of lifters I can use with it anythingwould be helpful. I would rather not g to a machine shop for an education and bother a bunch of guys that are trying to make a living

'85 Mustangs had roller cams, but, ***uming that is a OEM number "D" is the 1970s, so it isn't a roller cam The "0" shows first used in 1970. good luck.

The block casting #'s work the same way, C = 60's, D = 70's, E = 80's. Casting number in question should be on the driver's side of the block close to the oil pan towards the belhousing end of the block.

If it's the orriginal block to an 85 it should be an E4 or an E5 date code. IF it's a C9 for example then no, it's not orriginal, or a roller.

FWIW if the block has been set up to use the factory roller tappets there will be two 1/4 20 holes in the lifter valey lined up with the #2 and #4 bearing bulkhead.
