I Need to find a rear end that fits better of have this one cut down, or I wonder if I could get a some Chrome steelies with the right about of Back spacing. It seems the rear is way to wide. I love 63 darts all plain four door, cloth seats and v6 badges. I think they make a perfect sleeper. Maybe drop it a little bit and done, no outward clues of what is hiding under the hood.
I guess I should have rephrased the****le to "let's see some cool Darts" lol I am pretty excited about it, I can't wait to get it in the garage and tweak it to my liking.. Of course what I like is completely different from what others like, and that's what makes this whole thing fun....

I had picked up a '62 Dart and had asked myself the same question then I thought I'd put a straight axle underneath it. That makes just about anything cool!!
So the vans have a steel rim with a good amount of back spacing. Good to know, I will be on the hunt. And my buddies the Root Brothers have there 65 dart lettered up with the POISON DART on it! It's a killer car! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Most stock I Beam axles are to wide . I have A 100 I Beam out of a Van its 5" to wide so we are shorting it to bring the front tires under the fenderwells . Looks real bad this way and Im lowering it 4" also

I get what your saying as far as track width, and it's true a inch or 2 makes a huge difference. I'm gonna get my wheels and tires and see what the track width looks like and then if I'm not happy I will approach it then. At the moment my rear end width is what has me really concerned. I need to get the wheels tucked into the wheel wells so I can try to soften up the rear end some...
